At this time in her life, Cecely is primarily consumed with her duties as an English teacher and mother to a very active three year-old, but has spent a great deal of time experimenting in the field of fiber arts. As a passionate lover of all things wool, Cecely has raised sheep in the mountains of North Carolina, visited women's weaving cooperatives in Thailand and Nepal and spent time at several fiber arts programs around the country including the John C. Campbell Folk School, the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts and, of course, Green Mountain Hooked Rugs!
