We wanted to share some photos of Winthrop (Wink) Ashworth with you throughout the years. Many of you may remember him from working in the Green Mountain Rug School shop fixing cutters, etc. Enjoy!
I loved seeing these pictures! You could see how proud he was of his girls when he was asked to stand up at the annual introduction dinner of the GM Hooking School each year. My only wish was that you had put the dates of the pictures and included some of him as a younger man. (Not that he wasn’t an extremely handsome older man.) Thank you.
What a treat! Thank you Steph and Pam – Whenever I attend a GMRH school and chat with your family, thoughts of your Dad always come up. Fond memories of him are part of the experience for me. So coming across these brought them back.
See you in June.
Fondly,
Jackie
Dear Stephanie
Your Dad certainly looked like a loved and lovely man. His ‘pocket protector’ is just too cute … May he rest in piece. Georgie from the class in Jamiaca Plain, MA
