Rae Harrell is one of the leading experts in three-dimensional, multi-media textile arts. In this exciting and exuberant class you will have the opportunity to explore incorporating various media into your pieces including, but not limited to paint, different fabrics, beads, and buttons! She will also cover the skills involved in planning, designing, and building three-dimensional projects. In this endeavor, Rae will help you explore different base materials such as: wire, wood, screen, paper and fabrics to make an exciting armature (the foundation or the supporting structure) for your next or first 3D project!

Art has been one the most gratifying areas of Rae’s life, as it has always brought her joy. She has worked in many mediums and loves them all. Although she has studied with many known artists, she is unschooled in the traditional sense. Rae feels her work comes from within and is her primary meditation practice. Living in Vermont for many years, surrounded with the beauty and solitude of the Green Mountains, the four seasons continue to be an inspiration for her in Ohio now - with the many colors and wild life that parade across her view every day.
