Creative Stitches with Vivily Powers, June 26 & 27, 2023

The Class:  This is a 2-Day Class

DON’T BE CRUEL, CREATE CREWEL!

Create a Jacobean-like design by adapting specialty hooked stitches in wool on a commercial pattern on linen. Companion Crewel (12 x 20) from Honey Bee Hive will be used for the class.
Pattern, Colorama Wool, instructional and charted booklet is provided in the kit.
Specific blades # 4 and #5 blades will be used to create the pattern motifs and background. Background wool will be available.

Teacher Bio:

Vivily Powers is a McGown accredited instructor and owner of Colorama Wool.
She is a member of ATHA, McGown and RHGNS organizations. Her articles and hooked pieces have appeared in several publications. She instructs and vends at hook-ins, national conventions, chapters, rug schools in the US and in Canada.
Vivily is noted for her custom dyed wool and color planning expertise. She offers open and specialty classes and provides advanced planning and communication to the student in order to maximize class time. The ultimate goal for a class or program is for the student to go home with a well planned project and an enthusiasm for finishing the project.  Vivily lives in Manchester, Connecticut

$50 of your tuition is a non-refundable registration fee. Cancellations by May 1, 2023, will receive a $195 refund. No refunds are offered after June 1, 2023.  Tuition includes Sunday Welcome Dinner, two days of class, and lunch each day.
