Using Perspective for Impact with Jen Lavoie

June 21-24, 2017
Capitol Plaza Hotel in Montpelier, Vermont

Jen Lavoie is well known in the rug hooking community for her dramatic natural landscapes and pictorials. In this class, Jen will share her knowledge about perspective, and how to create the illusion of form, distance and reality for hooking a rug with drama and impact. Students will practice using various methods and gain understanding of these tools in order to apply them to their work. These projects may be already designed, original or purchased on your backing, or students may choose to design on the spot for a more project based learning opportunity. As always, a wonderful accessible learning community for all students will be fostered and enjoyed!
