Welcome to my favorite
"department". Like most rug hookers, I love wool and
love to see new fabulous colors! I'm a dyeing specialist
and learned the basics from my mother, Anne Ashworth,
many years ago. She taught me to use 100% wool fabric,
measure dyes carefully, and... Have fun!
Here are a
few important facts about my dyed wool:
 I make
every effort to give you the finest colors. By using
standard formulas,
I can offer you consistency,
although dye lots do differ slightly. Better to
order more and have left over, than to try to match
colors later. Note: Color on computer monitor may
differ slightly from actual color.
3 shades
of each color are available: light, medium, dark.
Color
samples shown are medium value. When ordering
yardage, please specify shade.
Wool is
54-56” wide and is sold by 1/4 yard ($12), 1/2 yard
($22), or 1 yard ($42) pieces.
Some variations
do occur, contributing to the mottled look
and beauty of hand-dyed wool.
If you would
like your fabric cut into #4, 6 or 8 strips,
please call the shop within 48 hours of
placing your online order.
Custom
dyeing and 'dye-to-match' are available. Send a
sample and call for details and pricing.

To have your wool cut
into #4, #6, or #8 strips for $3 per quarter yard,
please call the shop at 802-223-1333 within two business
days of placing your online order.
Wool can also be
dyed using any of Cushing's 94 dye colors.

Orders are processed within 2-7 business days with the

All orders are shipped by US Priority Mail.
We currently ONLY ship to the US and Canada.
