CREATE
Rug hookers of all levels of experience, including
beginners, are invited to explore rug styles and
patterns, hooking techniques, color planning, and
finishing methods. Start a new pattern or bring one in
progress. Receive individual instruction, with plenty of
time to hook while enjoying the camaraderie of other rug
hookers. Kits, wool, and some supplies will be available
for purchase.
LEARN
WITH A PRO
STEPHANIE ASHWORTH-KRAUSS, a fourth-generation rug
hooker, owns and operates Green Mountain Rug School, the
largest rug hooking school in the country. She also owns
a rug shop, Green Mountain Hooked Rugs, in Montpelier,
Vermont, offering a wide assortment of wool, yarn,
hooking supplies, custom dyeing, rug repair and cleaning
services, and classes.
PACKAGE PRICE
Includes 9 hours
rug hooking instruction, 2 nights lodging, welcome
reception, 5 meals, refreshment breaks, tax and
gratuity. Major credit card accepted.
Kits and rug hooking supplies will be available for
purchase.
Single
Occupancy: $515 per person
Double Occupancy: $400 per person
Day Student: $185
includes 9
hours instruction, 2 lunches, refreshment breaks, taxes
and gratuity. Rug hooking kits are additional.
A
minimum of five students is needed to run the program.
Inn accommodations available for up to 10 people,
